Mission Statement

The EVVCOM Anesthesiology Special Interest Group (ASIG) was founded in 2005 to give medical students the opportunity to explore their interest in anesthesiology prior to choosing their medical specialty. This organization hopes to expose medical students to the everyday practice of clinical anesthesiology through observation, mentorship, workshops, elective rotations, readings, discussions, and research.
